We are so proud to share that TWENTY-ONE (21) students from the John P. Stevens High School Choir program have been accepted into the NJ All-State Choir!

More than 900 students from more than 70 high schools across NJ auditioned for membership in this prestigious ensemble--It was extraordinarily competitive!

For many schools, it is a big deal to have 2 or 3 students accepted. The fact that we have Twenty-One (21) Students accepted is a true testament to their hard work and talent!

Congratulations to our ACE Mentor Program team who participated in the Construction Industry Round Table National Design and Construction Competition this past Monday in Washington DC. Congratulations to Ms May and the team for their 1st Place finish! In addition, Sai Rishita Kona won the Mark A Casso Memorial Scholarship worth $10,000!

Thank you all for the support of our relationship with ACE. We are so excited to announce that Therese May, our teacher at JP, and advisor for these students has been chosen to serve on the board of directors. Having a seat at the table will only give our students more opportunities and allow us to know first hand information in terms of internship opportunities. Thank you Ms. May for everything!

Get ready for a night of movement, creativity, and talent at Edison High School!

Dance Collective 2026 is set to take the stage on May 1st at 7:00 PM, featuring an exciting lineup of performances by our senior dancers and special guest artists. This annual showcase highlights the dedication, artistry, and growth of our dancers as they present original works and powerful performances.

Under the direction of Artistic Director Vicki Jenkins, the evening promises a dynamic blend of styles and storytelling through dance perfect for students, families, and community members alike.

🗼🎤💃🎨 Grade 8 students of French, along with their teachers Mme Haggard and Mme Tesla, participated in the month-long Manie Musicale, a bracket-style competition of francophone music for schools around the globe. Students practice French by learning about the artists and their songs, and many students engage by singing, dancing or creating art to demonstrate their understanding. 🏆🐝 Herbert Hoover FCCLA students had an outstanding showing at the State Leadership Conference! Gold medalists include Deekshita Sandu, Nishchaya Chintalapudi, Oreoluwa Ayeni, Marissa Sanders, Aryana Maini, Jiya Talati, and Sondus Rashid. Silver medalists include Shrishiti Goswami, Srinika Rout, Navyasree Bodiredddy, Juliette Moran, and Kate Ouedraogo. Congratulations to all participants and a special thank you to advisor Ms. DeFrancesco for her leadership and support!

Congratulations to the following Herbert Hoover students who qualified for the national competition after their outstanding performance at the Great History Challenge Regional Competition: Qasim Siddiqui, Mayank Kattige, Sai Venkata Deekshitha Sandu, Kritin Sethia, Ryder Kuchinsky, Shubh Patel and Mythili Palgunan. Students from the JP Stevens Black Student Union attended The Thrive Hub’s 5th Annual Career Exploration Conference at Lafayette College! This is an exciting networking opportunity for our students to meet classmates from across the tri-state area.
