Edison Township Public Schools has been selected through a competitive national application process to join the Digital Promise League of Innovative Schools, a national network connecting forward-thinking school districts committed to advancing innovation and excellence in education.
As a League member, Edison will have opportunities to collaborate with education leaders across the country, explore innovative practices, and contribute to research-backed approaches that support student success.

J.P. Stevens is proud to have a record 25 National Merit Semifinalists this year, claiming the top spot for all high schools in NJ! Including magnet and private schools! Congratulations to all our scholars for this amazing achievement.

Jaslyn Chen scored five times as J.P. Stevens defeated Edison, 5-2.
Chen has 15 goals in the first five games of her senior season. Eight of them have come against Edison. J.P. Stevens (4-0-1) outscored the Eagles, 12-3, on the way to a sweep of their Greater Middlesex Conference White American Division meetings.
Dhoon Amin assisted on two goals for the Hawks. Avery Spaventa, Sahasra Mendikar and Anya Shetty each recorded one assist.
Emily Pregnolato scored both Edison goals and had the Eagles (0-5) within one, at 3-2, but Chen answered with two more goals to seal the victory.
Shreya Singh and Aashna Bhagat combined for four saves in goal for J.P. Stevens. Rittal Altari made six saves for Edison.
J.P. Stevens recorded 11 shots on goal compared to seven for Edison.

via NJ.com: Jaslyn Chen posted yet another hat trick to keep J.P. Stevens unbeaten on the season with a 5-1 victory over South Brunswick in Edison. The Hawks’ start marks the first time the team has opened the season 3-0 in at least two decades. Go Hawks!
Congratulations to Mrs. Schrieks and the CineHawks: Jithin Suresh, Carter Williams, Hiren Sajwan, Ananth Raghavan, Prathmesh Ghorpade, Laksh Bansal, Viraj Grewal, Vashu Agrawal, Garvit Kumar, Paul Raj, Karthikeya Gatla, Aman Chandra, and Charish Cheemalapati for being selected as a finalist for the All American High School Film Festival which is the world's largest student film festival. The final screening and award ceremony will take place in October! Good luck to all the students involved!

Busing information for the 2026-2027 school year will be available in the Genesis Parent Portal beginning Thursday, August 27, 2026.
The Genesis Parent Portal will open tomorrow, Monday, August 24, at 12:00 p.m.
Please note that once the portal opens, families will need to complete all required forms before they can view their child’s schedule for the 2026-2027 school year.

Dr. Toohey was recognized for his innovative, student-centered leadership and commitment to expanding opportunities for every learner. His work includes the development of Edison Success Academy, a forward-thinking program providing personalized pathways, comprehensive supports, and meaningful opportunities for students to succeed.
This national recognition follows Dr. Toohey being named the 2026 New Jersey Special Education Administrator of the Year and reflects his continued commitment to advocacy, innovation, and student success.

We are pleased to inform you that the online meal application system, MySchoolApps, is now open for the 2026–2027 school year.
The MySchoolBucks platform also remains available for families to manage student meal accounts, add funds, and pay any outstanding meal balances.
To help ensure your child's meal benefits are in place before the first day of school on September 2, 2026, we encourage all families to complete their meal application as soon as possible.
Please note that meal benefit eligibility from the previous school year will expire unless a new application is submitted and approved by October 14, 2026.
