IMPORTANT: Please read an important message regarding the use of e-cigarettes by teens

Recently, you may have read about a rise in the use of e-cigarettes by teens. The Surgeon General of the United States has asked us to assist in communicating about the dangers of e-cigarettes, as the use of e-cigarettes or JUULs by teens is growing in popularity. E-cigarettes or JUULs might look like a stylus or flashdrive, and when used are odorless. Click here to read the Surgeon General's Advisory on E-cigarette Use Among Youth.
Please read the warning from the Surgeon General, and the suggestions for having a conversation with your children. Our administrators, nurses, school counselors and health teachers are aware of the rising interest in the use of e-cigarettes, and addressing the dangers in conversations and instruction.
