    Transitioning to Middle School can be tough. John Adams wants to make it easier for not only your child but for parents as well! Attend one of six sessions (30 minutes each) ranging from technology resources, academic recources, and stress management strategies to help support your child's transition.      On Thursday, October 24th, an administrator from Middlesex County Arts Middle School will be coming to JAMS to speak with students who are interested in learning more about the program. Arts Middle School is geared towards any student interested in working with professionals in the visual, literary and performing arts. Interestred students should sign-up to attend the presentation in homeroom from 10/16-10/18. Middlesex County Arts Application

     Here is the final club schedule. Students will be notified through email to join the club's Google Classroom page. PM clubs start Wednesday, 10/2 and late buses will be provided.

    The Middlesex County STEM and Biomedical Sciences Academies had a presentation about their respective academies and application process. Geometry Honors and Algebra 1 students are eligible to apply, and applications will be available in the counseling office after the presentation.

Welcome to John Adams Middle School


          Walking through the hallways of John Adams Middle School, the collaboration of close to 1,000 Knights as they debate, investigate, analyze, question, and surf their way through the exploration of learning is prevalent! John Adams Middle School is committed to inspire and empower students to reach their full potential and become respectful, responsible, productive citizens and future leaders in a global society. The John Adams Knights are lead by a supportive staff of 90 educational leaders, many with advanced degrees. Our diverse student population exposes learners to a multi-cultural community whose values, customs, languages, and experiences are all accepted and celebrated.

          The academic arena at John Adams Middle School is filled with a comprehensive, differentiated curriculum that meets the needs of all learners and challenges students, while providing the proper support necessary to achieve. The team concept within each grade level provides opportunities for self-discovery and growth; students learn about one another and build relationships that are nurtured and endured.  Classrooms are filled with interactive, wireless technology that supports hands-on, authentic learning experiences – reflecting future promises of workplace readiness. The energy and excitement that fill the classrooms and hallways is contagious!


          Whether interested in becoming athletes, artists, musicians, writers, scientists, and environmentalists, there is something for everyone at John Adams Middle School. Students showcase their talents and interests both in and out of the classroom setting through their participation in the plethora of extra-curricular activities available to them. Our school has a variety of extra-curricular offerings where many of our students participate in both clubs and sports. John Adams Middle School believes that children need to be involved in order to become well-rounded and productive citizens. Our students also understand and appreciate the value of community service and forging connections with the John Adams family.

          John Adams Middle School embodies a sense of community and belonging that students, staff, and parents foster and enjoy. The six pillars of character shine through student interactions daily; their knowledge of these pillars becomes obvious through their respect and understanding for one another.
