Tradition for 11thgraders at Edison High School holds that they must complete a Junior Project inconjunction with their history courses. The goal is to prepare them for thekinds of assignments they will face in college. This means that each projectmust involve research, reading, writing, and presenting.
Eight students were chosen to maketheir presentations in a symposium yesterday in the Choir Room, one of the school’sfew air-conditioned spaces, a welcome setting on an afternoon when thetemperature reached 90.
