PARENT-TEACHER ORGANIZATION (PTO)

Our PTO is an organization vital to the Washington School Learning community.   Involvement in the PTO, affords members a direct connection to their child/ren’s school community and education.   There are many avenues for involvement in this important organization.   Whether attending monthly meetings, serving as a class parent, assisting with fundraising or volunteering time for the many activities, your help is appreciated and needed.   Every member is an important member.

Throughout the year the PTO sponsors activities for students and families.  Membership in the PTO enables your family to participate in these fun activities.   The fundraising efforts of the PTO enhance the learning environment for our students.   In the last few years, the PTO has funded the creation of our playground and climbing wall as well as class trips for every student.  The PTO continues to sponsor our library make-over and renovation.  Throughout the year students are treated to assemblies designed to be fun learning experience due to the generosity of our PTO.

You are encouraged to become an active member of this worthwhile organization.   Information regarding membership will be sent home with your child/ren and is also available in the office.
