John P. Stevens High School provides an enriched vocal music experience for all levels of education. The vocal music program at JPS is about the journey as well as the destination, about product as the result of process. Students will be exposed to an advanced repertoire as they participate in classes that reach students on an individual and group basis.  The orchestral program balances challenge and musical study designed for each student, no matter the performance level.  The instrumental/band program at JPS provides a learning environment with specific understandings and skills. All students will be exposed to advanced literature, trips, competitions and performance opportunities while being part of a wide variety of ensembles.
