Spring is here and we are excited.  We continue to learn many new things.

In Math we are working on telling time and measurement.

In Language Arts we are continuing in Journeys and are working on different kinds of writing.  We are writing compare and contrast and informational paragraphs.  We are also learning about drawing conclusions, cause and effect, as well as sequence of events.  In addition, we are learning about suffixes, prefixes, antonyms and adjectives.

In Science, we are learning about Penguins and Rocks, Minerals, and Soil.

We are finishing up our Edison Unit and learning about Washington D.C. and how taxes support community services.

Don’t forget, Friday, May 10^th is Muffins with Mom and our class trip to Turtle Back Zoo is May 21^st.
