  • Washington Really CAREs!

    This year's CARE Walk will be Sunday, April 28th. For the fourth year in a row, Washington School has had the honor of raising the most money for our Edison families through the CARE organization. With the help of the Student Council and our guidance counselor, Mrs. Bachorik, we raised nearly $5,000!

  • We Had a Ball! ...a Book-Lover's Ball!

    Washington School Student Council hosted its first Book Lover's Ball. Not only did third, fourth, and fifth graders get to enjoy the love of books, but they wore their finest attire and walked the "red carpet." We truly had a ball! See the slideshow below to view some of the highlights.

  • Washington School Hosts Read Across America

    Washington School excitedly opened its doors to many celebrity guest readers! Our Mayor Toni Ricigliano, Dr. O'Malley, and even football player Reggie Brown set aside time to join us and read aloud in celebration of Read Across America.   • Washington Community Outreach Club Readers

    Second graders Mrs. Duffy & Mrs. Pavlichko's Community Outreach Club visited kindergartners in Mrs. Mercuri's class to share the love of reading. They read aloud to their little buddies, and even gave the kindergartners the books as gifts!

  • Washington School Students are Engineers!

    In Mrs. Marzano's class, the children are engineers! As they explore different materials as water filters, they are inventing a solution to help make water cleaner for animals.
