  • Menlo Park First Graders Host a Bookworm Party!

    Students in Ms. Taylor's first grade class hosted a Bookworm Party. Students invited their families to come see them celebrate their love of reading. The students recited poems, performed a reader's theater, sang songs and of course, read books. Click the title above for more!

  • Menlo Park's Pajama Night is a Fun Night for First Graders!

  • The Chicks Meet the Menlo Mutt!

    Menlo Park First Grade Students were thrilled when Farmer Donna delivered numerous eggs for them to take care of. As time passed, the chicks hatched and the students helped take care of them! Go to the "Grade Level News" tab and click on "First Grade News" to see more pictures and a video!

  • Menlo Park Second Grade Students Collaborate and Research Using iPads

    Students in Mrs. Oshinski and Mrs. Kohut's class worked together during science class researching penguins on our new iPads. The students were super excited to use the iPads and can't wait to use them again! Go to the "Grade Level News" section and click on "Second Grade News" to see more!

  • Menlo Park Students Learn All About "The Power of 1"

    Guidance Counselor, Mrs. Van Pelt, read the book One by Kathryn Otoshi to every class. Afterwards, each student was asked to think of One special person who helped them when they needed to have a better day. After learning about the power we all possess, students were encouraged to use their power to help others in a positive way.

  • Menlo Park Students Get Physically Fit With Wii!

    Students at Menlo Park have always been excited to participate in physical education classes, but when the Wii was incorporated the excitement was brought to a whole new level! Students took turns leading the class in various exercises while getting immediate feedback from the video game. Click the title above to see more pictures.

At the Board of Education meeting April 29th, the Board approved a calendar changed due to the snow day that was not used this year. There will be NO SCHOOL TUESDAY, MAY 28th. Please mark this important change on your calendars!

Edison is excited to announce a new resource that students have access to in school and at home! Using the username and password that was sent home, students can log on and research a plethora of topics. In addition to articles about the topic, students can also view pictures, watch videos, study maps and play games. The Britannica School Edition gives the students the world at their fingertips and is ready to be explored!
