  • Menlo Park Supports Autism Awareness in the Month of April

    Since April is Autism Awareness month, Menlo Park's Student Council sold the signature puzzle piece for two weeks. We are proud to announce that we raised $90.00 for Sam's Voice, an organization that helps children with Autism get service dogs. Thank you to Student Council for organizing and for everyone who contributed!

  • Menlo Park First Grader Wins Statewide Writing Contest

    Congratulations to First Grade student Reeti who won a writing contest sponsored by the New Jersey Association for Gifted Children. Reeti wrote an essay about STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) and her essay came in FIRST PLACE out of all the First Grade entries in the state. Menlo is proud of you!

  • Menlo Students Solve the Mystery Behind Mystery Skype!

    Students in Ms. Seidler and Ms. Prete's third grade class interacted with another class from…Alabama! Aside from making new friends, students were challenged to figure out where the other class is located by asking yes or no questions. Everyone on both sides of the computer had a great time.   • Buying Pretzels at Menlo Helped Raise Money for St. Jude Children's Hospital

    In March, Menlo Park's Student Council sponsored two pretzel sales. While the pretzels were delicious, the proceeds went to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. With the help of staff, families and most importantly, our students, the Student Council was able to make a $300 donation to St. Jude. Thank you Menlo for having such a big heart!

  • Menlo Student Council Fundraising Efforts Enhance Library

    In February, Menlo Park's Student Council organized a bracelet sale to celebrate the 100th Day of School. The proceeds went to purchase 52 new books for our school's library. Thank you to everyone who bought a bracelet! Next time you go to the library, ask Mrs. Bova which books are new so you can check them out! Enjoy the books!

  • Menlo 4th Grade Student Wins Edison Essay Contest

    Fourth Grade student, Dev, won the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. essay contest sponsored by Mayor Lankey's office. The topic was "Who's Your Hero?" and Dev's essay came in First Place! Congratulations, Dev! We are so proud of you!

  • Menlo 2nd Grade Students Have a Huge Heart

    Mrs. Drozd's 2nd Grade class organized a school wide fundraiser to support the Cooley's Anemia Foundation. Alicia Somma, a member of the International Thalassemia Congress, met with the students to explain the disease and how they can help. The students raised over $200! Menlo is so proud of your efforts!

  • Menlo Park's Student Newspaper Goes Digital!

    Menlo Park's Newspaper Club is now completely digital. The members, with the guidance of their adviser, Ms. LoCasto, have transformed the newspaper into an interactive blog.   • Shopping at Target Benefits Menlo Park School

    Thank you to everyone who uses their Red Card and mentioning Menlo Park Elementary School when shopping at Target. Through Target's Take Charge of Education program, Menlo Park received almost $2,000 which will be used to benefit the students. Thank you for participating in this program and doing all you can to support Menlo!

Attention Parents of students in Grades 3, 4 and 5 

The Drama Club of Menlo Park School proudly presents...

On March 31st, the Menlo Park Drama Club took a trip down the Yellow Brick Road. All the boys and girls did a phenomenal job in their roles! Thank you to Mrs. Ruiz and Ms. D'Aronzo for directing such a wonderful performance. Thank you to Mr. Peccarelli for sharing James Monroe's sound system and making sure everything worked that night. Most of all, thank you to all the students and parents who came to practice every week, made costumes, did make-up and supported the Drama Club throughout the year.  Menlo Park's Annual Spring Concert will be held Wednesday, June 3rd at Woodrow Wilson Middle School starting at 7:00 pm. We hope you will join us for what is sure to be a delightful evening filled with amazing performances by our talented Chorus, Band and Orchestra.
