Guidance Counselor, Mrs. Van Pelt, read the book One by Kathryn Otoshi to every class. Afterwards, each student was asked to think of One special person who helped them when they needed to have a better day. After learning about the power we all possess, students were encouraged to use their power to help others in a positive way.
Students at Menlo Park have always been excited to participate in physical education classes, but when the Wii was incorporated the excitement was brought to a whole new level!
