Students, family and members of the JMP community danced for hours at our "Move It To Lose It' event, Sunday April 29. The event held by the SKN Foundation and The Rhythmic Arts Center For Dance, highlighted how dance can be a fun and effective alternative method of fitness with a Zumba, Bhangra and Hip-Hop dance marathon.

Congratulations to Prisha from Miss Stephanie's preschool class, Shreya from Miss Abby's preschool class and Ramaa from Mrs. Krihak's 2nd grade class for winning the Read Across America T-Shirt Contest.
Under the direction of Miss Noelle and Miss Ashley of Jersey Six Productions, JMP students performed Broadway Babies. The show included singing and dancing to songs from various Broadway musicals. They practiced very hard for 2 weeks and gave a wonderful performance for family and friends.

In our continuing celebration of Read Across America, we have had many special guest readers from our community. The students and staff of JMP would like to thank everyone who came to read to us. There were teachers and principals from other schools, parents, Board of Education members, and Mayor Ricigliano.

In celebration of Read Across America, The Cat in the Hat made a visit to JMP and walked the halls greeting the students and spreading the word to "Read! Read! Read!".

Visitors to the building will immediately notice the bright atmosphere and positive feeling tone that the building exudes. Children's work is found throughout the building in lively colorful displays. The building reflects the energy and productivity of our young learners.
