The Courtyard Club
The Court Yard Club at Ben Franklin School is a school service club that will tend the courtyard gardens, indoor lobby garden, and the bird wildlife at school. Mrs. Nuzzo is the club advisor. The purpose of the club is to inspire Ben Franklin students to have an appreciation of nature, while providing a service to the school. We will tend the gardens as needed, according to the season. We will fill the courtyard bird feeders. We will plant a tree in honor of Arbor Day.
The club will be made up of students from third, fourth, and fifth grades. The club will meet about twice a month. A schedule of meeting dates will be made available to students, teachers, and parents.
The club looks forward to "growing" along the way.
