JMP OPT-OUT DONATION
With your help, our PTO is ableto provide a wide variety of programs and events for our children. Because the school district budget isprimarily focused on instructional expenses, the JMP PTO sponsors fundraisersto raise money for other enriching activities throughout the year. Many parents have mentioned that they wouldprefer to opt-out of the typical catalog types of fundraisers and haveexpressed an interest in donating money directly to the PTO.
Based on our current budget, thePTO expects to spend approximately $50 per student for enrichmentactivities. These include such programsas welcome folders ($1500), class trips ($9500), assemblies ($3000), Field Day($2000), Gifts to School ($4500), Thanksgiving Feast ($1250) and other fun andeducational programs. Therefore, weinvite you to support these wonderful events, by making a direct tax-deductibledonation to the PTO.
Although $50 is the estimated activitycost per student, any donations are greatly appreciated. Your contribution mayqualify for company-matching programs. If you work for a company that offersthis benefit, please contact your HR department for the proper form. Theform can be submitted, along with our form and your check, to our PTO. Wewill take care of submitting the completed form to your employer.
