On Friday, February 24th, Monday, February 27th and Tuesday, February 28th, JP Stevens Guidance Counselors will visit 8th graders to discuss scheduling of classes for grade nine. At the meeting, counselors will distribute sample scheduling sheets, list of electives, and program of studies booklets.
Nurse Howard will conduct scoliosis screening for grade 7 students from February 14th-23rd during PE classes.
February's students of the month epitomize fairness in every way. They treat others with respect and consider all sides before making a decision. Congratulations Knights!
Congratulations to Mrs. Lanzafama's 8th grade homeroom for winning the Anti-Bullying slogan contest. Students came up with the slogan on their own and believe fellow students could benefit from keeping it in mind at all times.
During February students will be exposed to examples for fairness. Sometimes in life, we all experience challenges that make it seem unfair; students will be able to work through these situations in a way that demonstrate good character.
